Paula and I just got back from a barbecue in the park (no, I'm not joking). It only was our 3rd barbecue of our trip! I don't want to chat too long, since we're with friends still and enjoying wine, but I thought I'd share some photos of the trips.
We're putting the overly ambitious house remodel on hold, along with the exceptionally chilly house (a side effect of having holes in ceiling and walls in the middle of winter) for a little trip 'down unda.' The good people of Children's Hospital gave Paula almost a couple weeks off and she's managed to finagle a few more days for a pleasant trip to see our friend Rose get married. It is after all summer down in Australia.
So, we're off with new camera in hand and will perhaps update the blog periodically. For now though, its bon voyage to the gray, rain, and persistent chill. A huge thanks also to our parents for watching our children (Maddie, Gordon, Gus, and Cleo) while we're gone.
